TRS Parliament Members Protest at Delhi Parliament Premises.
It is known that the monsoon session of Parliament started last Monday. However, in this context, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has introduced a bill to increase the rates of Goods and Services Tax (GST). However, criticism is pouring in from the opposition. There are protests that the central government, which is already putting a heavy burden on the common man, is now prepared to increase the GST rates and break the livelihood of the common man. In this context, the TRS MPs have recently raised a protest on the increase in GST rates in the Parliament premises. TRS Parliamentary Party leaders K. Led by Kesha Rao, TRS MPs protested in the Parliament premises along with opposition parties.
They displayed placards and raised slogans against the central government’s decision to impose GST on milk and milk-related products and raise gas prices. TRS Working President KTR has called upon the party ranks to hold agitations against the central government’s decision in the wake of the unprecedented imposition of GST tax on milk and milk products by the central government. Against this backdrop, TRS ranks protested against the central government in Telangana state as well.
