Spent on Ads: From 2017, the Center spent Rs. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur revealed in the Rajya Sabha today that 3,339 crores has been spent. He stated that Rs.3,339.49 crore has been spent on advertisements in print and electronic media in the five years since 2017. Anurag Thakur gave a written reply that the government had spent Rs 1,756.48 crore on print media advertisements from 2017-18 till July 12 this year.
