On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi bought a ticket and traveled by train. Modi traveled with ordinary people from Gervare metro station to Anand Nagar station. The foundation stone for the Pune Metro Rail project was laid on December 24, 2016. The project is estimated at Rs 11,440 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the first 12 km of the Metro Rail, which will cover a total area of ​​32.2 km in the city.
