The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Congress president Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case on Thursday. Earlier, Sonia Gandhi was ordered to attend the hearing.. Sonia Gandhi was not present at that time due to Corona. Recently on Thursday ED questioned Sonia Gandhi for 3 hours. Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were present in the ED office during the investigation. It seems that Sonia Gandhi was asked more than 25 questions. It seems that Sonia Gandhi was questioned by five officers led by a woman officer with the rank of Additional Director. Once again, the authorities ordered Sonia Gandhi to appear before the ED on Monday, 25th of this month.

In the background of the ED investigating Sonia Gandhi, the Congress ranks raised protests in Delhi. Police used water cannons to quell the protests at many places. Congress leaders and activists were arrested by the police. Senior Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge, P. Chidambaram, Ajay Maken, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Manikkam Tagore, K. Suresh, Harish Rawat, Shashi Tharoor etc. were arrested and taken in buses. A total of 75 Congress MPs were detained by the police. In many states also, protest programs were carried out under the auspices of the PCC there.

ED has already interrogated Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. Rahul Gandhi was interrogated for more than 50 hours. Congress leaders across the country are expressing their anger over the recent interrogation of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The BJP is criticized for using the central institutions to trouble the opposition leaders.
