CS Somesh Kumar conducted a review meeting on the conduct of Independent Indian Diamond Festivals. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that all government departments should work in coordination to organize Swatantra Bharat Vajrotsavam from August 8 to 22 across the state. The Chief Secretary of the Government held a meeting with the high officials today on the management of Swatantra Bharat Vajrotsavam at BRKR Bhavan. Officials have been asked to work in coordination to make these programs organized for fifteen days across the state a success. The Chief Secretary stated that the high level committee constituted on Vajrotsava Utsavs had already drawn up the day-to-day programmes.
Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and other public representatives will attend the inaugural function on August 8. He said that special programs are being organized across the state to promote national unity and patriotism, and people from all walks of life should participate in these programs. The chief secretary of the government said that crore flags are already being prepared for door-to-door distribution in the state. The officials were directed to ensure that flags are distributed in all villages, mandals and municipalities. On this occasion, it was explained that movies promoting national unity and patriotism will be screened for free in all cinema theaters for school students.
