During this process she was introduced to a stranger. He convinced Shweta that if he gives 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees, he will give 7 lakhs. When she said that she did not have any money, he himself transferred Rs.50 thousand to Shweta. Later, he paid Rs. 50 thousand and the rest of the money with her. Even after that she paid 1 lakh 30 thousand. After two days of his phone being switched off, she realized that she had been cheated. The police initially confirmed that he committed suicide because he was worried and did not know what to do. Along with her call data, the police are collecting details of accounts and social media friends where she sent money. It has become a topic of discussion to fall into the trap of fraudsters even after studying well and doing a software job.

The incident in which a software employee was brutally murdered by online fraud took place in Chillakallu of Jaggayapet mandal of NTR district. According to the police, Jasti Shweta Chaudhary (22) of Navulur, Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district is working as a software employee in a company in Hyderabad. Working from home for last 3 months. She prepared to go to Hyderabad by car with her relatives early on Sunday morning to directly perform duties in the office of the company. Came out on a two-wheeler at 5 pm on Saturday. At around 8 pm, the mother sent a message on the phone saying that she was committing suicide by jumping into the Chillakallu pond. When they called back, the parents immediately came and complained to the police as they got a switchoff. The body was found around 10 am on Sunday. After collecting the details, the police came to a preliminary estimate that online fraud was the reason for the suicide.
