Another scheme is going to be implemented in AP this month itself. On 13th of this month, each person will receive financial assistance of Rs. 10 thousand through YSR Vahana Mitra scheme. Transport Commissioner P.Rajababu revealed that Rs.10,000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of everyone who has their own vehicles on 13th of this month. He said that this financial assistance will be provided to auto, taxi and cab driver-cum-owners through the hands of the CM. He explained that cash assistance is being provided for vehicle insurance, fitness and repairs.

Meanwhile, Transport Commissioner P. Rajababu said that the Transport Department is inviting applications from eligible persons till this year. He suggested that applications should be made in the village and ward secretariats by the 7th of this month. Besides those who are already beneficiaries of this scheme, drivers who have purchased auto, taxi and maxi cabs can also apply. It has been suggested that those who are already beneficiaries under this scheme can upload the photo of their vehicle in the village and ward secretariat. Those who have bought a new vehicle should apply with their Aadhaar card, white ration card, land details, income tax, household electricity consumption, caste and other eligibility documents. Rajababu revealed that the list of eligible beneficiaries will be approved by the relevant authorities at the offices of MPDO or Municipal Commissioner by the 9th of this month. After the applications are approved by the collectors on the 10th, they will be sent to the concerned corporations through the CFSS on the 11th and 12th.
