Srivastava hundi in Thirumala is generating huge revenue as normal conditions prevail after Corona. Since March this year, TTD has been receiving over Rs 100 crore in revenue through Srivari hundi every month. In May, TTD officials reported revenue of Rs 129.93 crore, the highest in the history of Tirumala. TTD officials said that it crossed the Rs 100 crore mark before the end of June. From June 1 to June 26, it reached Rs 106 crore. However, in the last two years, the hundi income has declined sharply due to the limited number of devotees allowed to visit Srivari.
Currently, Thirumala Srivari hundi is earning a huge amount of money every month. Against this backdrop, TTD officials estimate that annual revenue will cross Rs 1,500 crore this year. In the past, hundi income was around Rs 1,200 crore a year. In May and June, hundi income crossed the Rs 100 crore mark due to summer vacations. In the remaining months, it was less than Rs 100 crore. This year, however, a large number of devotees are coming to Tirumala. It is crowded not only on weekends but also on normal days. Thirumala, on the other hand, has a daily income of Rs 4 crore through hundi.
