Minister Indrakaran Reddy visited Shasti Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Manchiryala Chowrastha, Nataraja Nagar, Budhawar Pate, Harijana Wada, Doctors Lane in Nirmal town which were affected by incessant rains. Rainwater stagnant areas and canals were examined.
Minister Indrakaran Reddy advised the officials to prepare plans and take action without any damage in the face of the possibility of rains continuing for another two or three days. Officials have started rescue operations for the six people who stayed in the NR function hall in Bhainsa. People trapped in the garden are being rescued with the help of rafts. Ravindrapur in Basara was flooded. With the help of fishermen, the police moved 20 people to safe places with the help of rafts.

In the wake of heavy rains, Minister Prashant Reddy conducted a review with the officials of Nizamamad and Kamareddy districts. Officers of all departments along with Disaster Management have been ordered to be available in the district centers. It is suggested that the officials should work in coordination at the field level. People were ordered to move from the low-lying areas of the Godavari basin to safer areas. He ordered that a control room should be set up in the district collector’s office and that the local public representatives should work in coordination to ensure that the emergency services of the people do not face any problems.
