A miracle will take place in the sky. This year, the moon will come closer to the earth once again. This will create a super moon. A total of four Super Moons will be observed in 2022. The newly forming super moon is the third. The next super moon will be seen on August 12. These supermoons occur when the moon is closest to the earth in its orbit while orbiting the earth, when 90 percent of the moon is visible on a full moon day. The moon appears brighter and larger than in normal full moon situations.
NASA has announced that this super moon will be visible all over the world for three days from July 13. Generally, there is an average distance of 3,84,400 kilometers between the Moon and the Earth. During its rotation around the Earth, it sometimes goes closest (perigee) and farthest (perigee). On July 13, the Moon is coming within 3,63,300 km of Earth. This makes it look 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than normal.
