Atrocity happened in Egypt. Two women who were having fun swimming in the sea were attacked and killed by a shark. The two dead women were tourists to Egypt. Red Sea Governor Amar Hanafi said that an Australian woman’s left arm was completely amputated in a shark attack. The government has closed all the beaches in the area due to this incident. But experts say that sharks rarely attack humans.

But many people have died in shark attacks in the past as well. In 2018, a tourist died in a shark attack in the same Red Sea. A German tourist died in a similar attack in 2015. In 2010, there were five shark attacks in five consecutive days off the coast of tourist hot spot Sharm-el-Sheikh. One person died and four others were injured.
