The issue of junior doctors’ stipend in Adilabad Rims has come to the fore again. Officials who had been lingering for so long have now given up. The junior doctors say they have not been given a stipend for seven months and now the internship is over. They are still begging for the money they owe. Although stipend has been given to all medical colleges in Telangana, there is no answer from the authorities as to why only Adilabad Rims is in this situation. Junior doctors say they did not get the right answer when they met RIMs director Jaising.

The junior doctors are voicing that the management is adamant that they can not pay the stipend now after working with them for years. With this, they feel that they are missing out on adequate education or even higher education. They say they have no choice but to protest in various forms, including the siege of the Collectorate. It remains to be seen how the government will react to the issue of junior doctors’ stipend in Adilabad Rims.
