PSLV C53 rocket launch was successful. It blasted off from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Tirupati district at 06.02 pm on Thursday evening. After the countdown continued for 26 hours, the rocket crashed into Ningi. This is NewSpace India’s second commercial mission. PSLV-C53 launched Singapore’s satellites into orbit. Through this launch, 365 kg DS-EO satellite, 155 kg Nusar and 2.8 kg Scoob-1 satellites from Singapore will be launched. This is the 55th launch in the PSLV series. Scientists have expressed happiness over the success of PSLV C53 launch.

ISRO is a world leader in commercial launch of 342 satellites from 33 countries via PSLV rockets. In 2016, the PSLV C37 rocket launched 104 satellites simultaneously, making history. Many countries are opting for launches from India as they have the flexibility to send foreign satellites commercially at low cost.
