Recently in West Godavari district, a fight between two policemen regarding a lady constable turned into a storm. The behavior of the two policemen in Bhimavaram is highly controversial. Recently, the dispute that broke out between the CI and the constable at Bhimavaram One Town Station went to the point where both of them attacked each other. This incident which came to light late has recently become a topic of discussion in the district. Senior officials have taken serious action on this.
Bhimavaram One Town CI has been criticized for misbehaving with the staff at the Krishna Bhagavan station and harassing them for no reason. Recently, a constable named Rajesh started harassing another lady constable of the station because he was giving a lift on his bike. An argument took place between the two regarding the same. A clash also took place between Constable Rajesh in this regard. As this matter came to light late, the higher authorities took up the investigation.
After the investigation, CI Krishna Bhagwan was sent to vacancy reserve and the constable was transferred from Bhimavaram to Mogalthur station. Criticism is pouring in that the police, who are supposed to protect the people, are paying more attention to small matters and are getting into a position of beating each other. This incident stands as an example that there is no unity between the police who are supposed to control crimes with friendly policing.
