PM Narandra Modi: Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with the CMs of the BJP-ruled states and suggested that key schemes should be implemented better. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with a total of 12 Chief Ministers and eight Deputy Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states at the Council of Chief Ministers meeting held at the party office in Delhi on Sunday. BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda also participated in this meeting. The last such meeting was held in Varanasi in December 2021. In this meeting, Prime Minister Modi emphasized on better implementation of some key schemes and programs like Gati Shakti, Har Ghar Jal, Swamitwa, implementation of DBT, government e-marketplace, especially in BJP-ruled states.

Talk about increasing their use. He emphasized the need to ensure saturation level coverage of all key schemes. He said that BJP-ruled states should take a step in this direction. The Prime Minister explained the need to promote ease of doing business. He explained various programs undertaken by the government for this purpose. He encouraged the states to take steps towards improving the business environment in the country.

In this meeting, he reviewed the progress of various welfare schemes and development programs implemented by the central government in these states. Steps should be taken to ensure that every scheme reaches remote villages and reaches the deserving beneficiaries. Also reviewed progress of Amrit Sarovar Mission, preparations for Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. All the CMs should commit themselves to transform Azadi ka Amritkal into Antyodaya Yuga through good governance.
