TDP spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhiram was highly critical of the YCP government. Minister for Housing Jogi Ramesh was incensed that patients were lying like Ramesh. He alleged that Jagan Reddy and Co had embezzled crores of rupees in the matter of housing and house deeds. He recalled that during the five years of TDP rule, more than 7.82 lakh poor people were provided with pucca housing in the assembly by former minister Ranganath Raju himself.

Pattabhiram said the Union Minister had replied in Parliament that only 60,700 houses had been constructed in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the last three years. Alleged that housing construction in AP is worse compared to past states due to corrupt government. Allocated for housing in the last three years is just Rs. 12.23 lakh crore but spent Rs. 5. Pattabhi explained that it was only 89 thousand crores. The government is making false claims that it will spend Rs 50,000 crore on housing.

Pattabhi suggested that Jogi Ramesh should know that UP, Gujarat, Maharashtra and other states have built millions of houses in the last three years. According to the RTI, only 5.43 lakh metric tonnes of sand has been provided so far for the construction of Jagannath colonies in AP. Pattabhi, however, criticized CM Jagan for giving false statements that he was giving away 3.10 crore metric tonnes of sand for free.
