Addressing an event in Delhi on Thursday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari addressed the issue of parking of vehicles. Nitin Gadkari lamented that people were not providing parking space for vehicles and occupying roads. Wrong parking often causes traffic jams on the roads. Wrong parking must be stopped. He said the plan was to bring in a strict law to bar vehicles from crossing the road. On the occasion, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that if a fine of Rs 1,000 is imposed for wrong parking, the person who sent the photo will be given a reward of Rs 500.
