Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former cricketer who caused the death of a man in a road accident nearly 30 years ago, is currently lodged in Patiala Central Jail. Recommended oak gas juice, watermelon, kiwi, guava, sprouted black peas and green beans for lunch. In addition to this, a bowl of cucumber for lunch and dinner, a chapati made with seasonal green vegetables, ragi and sorghum is recommended. In the evening recommended 25 grams of low-fat milk paneel or tofu, a cup of tea. Doctors recommended mixed vegetables, doll soup, black chana soup and raw vegetables for dinner.
Navjot Sidhu is suffering from a liver disease called Embolism Condition. In 2015, he was treated for acute deep vein thrombosis in Delhi. Blood clots in a vein can interfere with normal blood flow. Meanwhile, officials in the Patiala court handed over the clerical work to Sidhu. He was also assigned an assistant. Authorities say Sidhu will be working in the barracks for security reasons.
