National Herald Case: Rahul Gandhi will appear in the entire trial today

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday for the fourth installment of the National Herald case. The Congress party is set to stage peaceful protests across the country against the central government. It is learned that Rahul Gandhi was interrogated for three days from June 13 to 15 amid protests from party leaders and activists. Once again, the entire summons was issued to attend the hearing on the 17th of this month. Rahul appealed for adjournment till Monday. At Rahul’s request, the entire hearing was adjourned to Monday. In this context, Rahul is scheduled to appear before the court today.

Rahul’s mother, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, is currently being treated at the Gangaram Hospital in Delhi for Kovid-related problems. Rahul and his sister Priyanka Gandhi are currently in hospital with their mother. Rahul Gandhi’s request to adjourn his questions from June 17 to June 20 citing Sonia Gandhi’s health condition was accepted by the ED.

Meanwhile, the Congress is set to stage peaceful protests across the country today against the Agneepath recruitment scheme. Jairam Ramesh, a senior Congress leader, said on Twitter that Congress workers would continue their peaceful protests against the Modi government’s retaliatory politics against Agnipath and Rahul Gandhi. The Congress delegation will also meet the President this evening on the issue
