Health Minister Harish Rao held a video conference with District Collectors and officials as a precautionary measure against seasonal diseases. On this occasion, he said that there has been heavy rain and seasonal diseases are likely to prevail. He said that cases of dengue are being registered here and there, malaria has been registered in Mulugu and Kothagudem districts. He disclosed that testing kits have been sent in large scale in all districts. Besides, the CM has issued orders for the ministers to go to the districts. He clarified that 10 crores has been sanctioned to the Panchayat Raj and Roads and Buildings Department for the repair of rain-damaged roads. He explained that a person with symptoms of monkeypox has been identified, but the disease has not yet been diagnosed. He said that they were carefully kept in isolation and the fever hospital was set up as a nodal hospital.

They said that arrangements are being made for testing at Gandhi Hospital and the central government said that the sample should be sent to Pune. He suggested that people should not panic and go to the hospital immediately if they have symptoms. Every Sunday house-to-house cleaning program was conducted and appeal was made to keep the house premises clean. Dry day should be observed in all organizations and offices every Friday. Special measures are being taken to prevent mosquitoes and arrangements are being made to provide better treatment if cases are registered anywhere.
