Mamata Benerjee: As the ED investigation continues against the state minister Partha Chatterjee, who is one of the main accused in the teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal. He decided that he does not support corruption. Mamata said that she will not support corruption.. Rs. lakh pension from Parliament and Rs. 2 lakh salary as state MLA.. She said that she should calculate how much money she has earned in 11 years so far. Apart from this, Mamata Banerjee made it clear that she did not take a single paisa. She claimed that her service was voluntary. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said that she is saddened and disappointed by the attitude being followed by a political party for the last two days.

Referring to the book “Right to Make Blunders” written by Subhash Chandra Bose, he said, “People make mistakes.. It is a right to make mistakes. If someone is involved in wrongful activities, none of us will interfere, no matter how harsh the judgment they get. We will not support them.” It was revealed indirectly.

Terming the case as a ‘woman related incident’, he said he respects women but not all are good. I want the truth to come out. Within the fixed time limit.. someone should judge according to the truth. He said he had no objection to life imprisonment if found guilty. After the arrest of Partha Chatterjee by the ED, Mamata condemned the hate campaign being carried out by the CPI(M) and the BJP against her. He expressed anger as to why he was being tagged with the money seized by the ED during the investigation. The BJP and the CPM were angry that they were doing that. If he had not entered politics, they would have cut off their tongues for their audacity.

Bengal Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested on Saturday on charges of money laundering in the teacher recruitment scandal. While he was the state education minister, there were allegations of his role in the illegal recruitment of teachers and staff in government schools. When the ED officials asked whom to call, he replied CM Mamata. In this sequence, he called Didi at 2.31 am, 2.33 am, 3.37 am and 9.35 am. However, she did not answer the call. However, Chatterjee called Didi three more times but she did not pick up. After trying four more times, he got the reply “Please try after some time”. But the Trinamool Congress denied this.
