The XU V700 car from Mahindra brought craze before it hit the market. 50,000 bookings in a very short period of time. With this the company is taking more time to deliver the car to the customers. Currently the XUV700 starts at Rs. 13.18 lakhs. Meanwhile, the top variant range-topping AX7L trim has a waiting period of up to 2 years. The entry-spec MX trim has a waiting period of almost 7 months. The waiting period is 22 months for the AX7L variant, 20 months for the AX7 variant and 5 months for the AX5 variant.

Meanwhile, demand for the car, along with corona conditions, the impact of the war, the shortage of semiconductors and the global supply chain damage are affecting car deliveries. Already, Mahindra Thar and Hyundai Creta are the cars with the longest waiting period. Currently, the Mahindra XU V700 is also on the list.
