The developments in Maharashtra are changing rapidly. One by one the MLAs from the Shiv Sena party are doing it. Under Shiv Sena rebel leader and minister Ek Nath Shinde, 35 Shiv Sena MLAs and seven independent MLAs split the Shiv Sena party. With this the government fell into the minority. However, it seems that Ek Nath Shinde is planning to form a government with the BJP.
Meanwhile, the NCP and Congress, which are part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, have announced their support for the Shiv Sena. It seems that the Shiv Sena is planning to go for a fresh strength test. It seems that the Rebels are planning to file a petition to disqualify the MLAs.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar, on the other hand, made key remarks on the current situation. He said the government had not fallen into the minority. Sharad Pawar said the strength of the MVA government would emerge in the floor test. He said Shiv Sena rebel MLAs should come to the Legislative Assembly. They could sit in Surat and Guwahati and talk about anything. He said that everyone knew how to take all the MLAs to Gujarat and then to Assam. He did not reveal the names of those who were helping them.
Shiv Sena MLAs in the Guwahati camp, on the other hand, unanimously elected Ek Nath Shinde as their leader. “The BJP is a national party. The decision we have taken is historic. The BJP has said that our MLAs will attend whenever they want,” Ek Nath Shinde told Rebel MLAs.
