Jubilee Hills gang rape case is causing a stir in Telangana. The BJP and Congress have been sharply critical of the ruling TRS party as well as the MIM party. Protesting against the recent rape of a girl in Hyderabad, Youth Congress National General Secretary M. Anil Yadav tried to organize a CM Dishti toy burning program on the Tank Bund. Police arrested the Congress activists and shifted them to Secunderabad Rangopal Peta police station. Police arrested NSUI state president Balmur Venkat on his way to the BJP office and shifted him to Gandhinagar police station.
CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka strongly condemned the police action. He was outraged that the arrests were illegal. Bhatti Vikramarka accompanied by former minister Sridhar Babu went to Ram Gopalpeta police station in Secunderabad. The leaders also visited the arrested Anil Yadav and other Congress workers. He spoke to the Hyderabad Additional Commissioner of Police on the phone and demanded the immediate release of all those arrested.
