Jagan Sarkar has given good news to students studying abroad in AP. The government has issued an order on Jagananna’s foreign education. It has issued guidelines giving importance to talent without any bias. It will also apply to economically backward upper castes. The government will bear the cost of those who secure a seat in the top 200 universities of the world in the QS rankings. A full fee reimbursement will be provided if you get a seat in the top 100 ranked universities.
Fee reimbursement up to Rs. 50 lakhs will be applied if you get admission in universities ranked 100 and above 200. Fee reimbursement will be provided directly into bank accounts in four installments. First installment payment on receipt of landing permit or I-94 immigration card. The second installment will be paid after the results of the first semester or term. The third installment will be paid once the results of the second semester are received. The fourth installment payments will be made after the fourth semester or final results. Fee reimbursement payments for PhD and MBBS students are made year-wise or semester-wise till the completion of the course.
It will be applicable to all those whose income is less than Rs.8 lakh per annum. All those below 35 years of age are eligible for full fee reimbursement under the Jagananna Vaise Dibena at a satisfactory level for all if they secure as many seats in the top 200 universities. Must be a native of AP, applicable only to one person in the family. Every year between September-December and January-May notification is given for the identification of the eligible. A committee headed by the Chief Secretary to the State Government will select the eligible candidates.
3,326 people who were selected as beneficiaries from 2016-17 have been arrears of Rs.318 crore by the previous government.
