Earthquake: ఇరాన్, చైనాలో భూకంపం..6.0 తీవ్రతతో కంపించిన భూమి

Iran was shaken by a powerful earthquake. An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit southern Iran early Saturday morning. The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 10 km, 100 km southwest of Bandar Abbas city in Hermoz province. According to the information received so far, eight people have been injured and three have died. The death toll is likely to rise.

Due to Iran earthquake tremors also occurred in neighboring countries like UAE, Bahrain and Qatar. In November last year, the same earthquake of magnitude 6.4 and 6.3 occurred in Hormoz Gan province. Iran’s worst earthquake occurred in 1990. The 7.4 magnitude earthquake killed nearly 40,000 people. Earthquakes occur due to the high activity of tectonic plates in this region.

Meanwhile, an earthquake occurred in China on Saturday. A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Xinjiang province. Recently there was a 6.0 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan. This earthquake has taken a toll on Afghanistan, which is already reeling from poverty. The Taliban government has asked for international aid. About 1000 people died and 1500 were injured in Afghanistan due to the earthquake.
