Driverless Car: IIT Hyderabad is another innovation.. India's first driverless car test run

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has taken a step forward in driving vehicles without a driver. IIT Hyderabad conducted the test run of a driverless car for the first time in India. For this, a 2 km long track has been constructed without turns and speed breakers. Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Medak MP Kota Prabhakar Reddy traveled in a driverless car. The car was tested by driving it for 2 kilometers without a driver. This is the first such experiment in the country.

Rajyalakshmi, Director of Autonomous Navigation Innovation Project, said that from August, driverless vehicles will be operated in the campus to transport students. But first, they are planning to run driverless vehicles to deliver heavy payload items. On the other hand, the scientists of IIT Hyderabad campus have recently developed a bicycle to go from the metro station and other transport systems. This cycle runs without us riding it. Whenever someone books a cycle on the mobile application, it tracks the GPS location and automatically goes to the passenger and picks them up. A test run for this was also recently conducted at IIT Hyderabad.
