CM Jagan: జగన్‌ని కలిసిన అమెరికా కాన్సుల్‌ జనరల్‌

US Consul General (Hyderabad) Joel Reefman met Chief Minister YS Jagan courtesy at the CM’s camp office. Joel Reefman met Chief Minister YS Jagan as part of his farewell visit and discussed various issues. He thanked the CM for his support and initiative to the US Consulate in improving US-Andhra relations.

The AP commended the CM for his efforts in further improving relations with the American Consulate to the Government. He particularly appreciated the reforms being brought by the government in the education system. Joel Reefmann said the AP was one of the best states in the country in effectively curbing the Kovid epidemic, with a high priority on medical and health care. He lauded the steps being taken by the AP government for renewable energy.

He hoped that the investments and industries between Andhra Pradesh and the United States would improve further. He praised the 50 per cent priority given to women and the weaker sections. The conference addressed the issue of giving highest priority to women in all walks of life. He lauded the incentive measures taken by the Chief Minister on English medium and school education in public schools. Special thanks to the CM for his assistance to the US Consulate General in launching the American Corner in Visakhapatnam.

Also expressed happiness over its performance. During the three-year tenure, the Chief Minister was given the opportunity to discuss various issues with the Chief Minister four times. The meeting was attended by Dr. KS Jawahar Reddy, Special Principal Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office and Dr. M. Harikrishna, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
