CM Jagan: Jagan's key decision on Arogyasree

Authorities say they are raising public awareness on Kovid 19 in the state. Even for those under 18, two doses are almost complete. 99.65 percent of those aged 15 to 17 were vaccinated. Of those aged 12 to 14, 97.78 per cent were vaccinated, officials said. He issued key directives on Kovid‌ conditions in the state, Arogyasree, the programs under it, the work being carried out under the Medical Health Department today and today, the construction of new medical colleges, cancer care and so on. CM YS Jagan ordered to give Rs 5,000 to the mother for any kind of childbirth.

Jagan ordered to pay Rs 5,000 in case of natural childbirth or caesarean section. If a previous caesarean section was Rs 3,000, it should be increased to Rs 5,000. Since natural childbirth and caesarean section are important for maternal care, a single dose should be given. Special attention should be paid to enhancing natural childbirth. Jagan said that more medical treatments are being brought under the purview of Health Sri.

2,446 procedures are being covered in Arogyasree, officials said. CM YS Jagan directed that continuous study should be done on this order and the number of procedures should be increased to make it better as per the requirements. CM YS Jagan directed the officers to give proposals in this regard within a week. The state is spending at least Rs 270 crore under Health Sree. We are spending a minimum of Rs 25 crore per month for 104,108. “We spend about Rs 35 crore a month under health support, and about Rs 4,000 crore a year on activities under Arogyasree alone,” officials said. Last year, the state received Rs. 223 crore, officials said. It is likely to give Rs 360 crore this year. Jagan suggested that Arogya Sree services should be transparent. The government has decided to bring DBT policy in Arogya Sree as well. From now on the money will go directly to the beneficiary’s account. From there the payments are made to the hospital through auto debit system. The consent form will be received at the time of discharge of the patient. There is a consent form between the patient, the bank and the hospital.
