TDP chief Chandrababu has condemned the demolition of a Dalit house in Anantapur district. Speaking on the occasion, he questioned what the government had achieved by demolishing a Dalit house. He wondered if so many officials would wage war on the demolition of the poor man’s house. The MLA, Ardeo and the police officers were all incensed at the war being waged together to demolish the house of an ordinary Dalit man and throw his family on the road.
Chandrababu Eddewa asked if the original Jagan government knew how to build except for demolition. He also accused the government of demolishing Dalit houses. The officials who acted as if the aim was to demolish the house of a poor family had committed a grave error. . He said the vicious culture of harassment by political parties was present in the YCP DNA. With so many public representatives, officials said it would have been nice if they had worked for a public problem solution.
Chandrababu questioned the government’s response to the suicide attempt of Hanumantha Rayudu and his wife Anithalakshmi on the demolition of a house. He warned that the Dalits would not condone acts of oppression of the homeless. Chandrababu demanded that the victim’s family be granted a house immediately and that compensation be given for torturing them.
