Indian Army officials on Wednesday successfully tested the missile in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The BrahMos missile, developed by DRDVO in collaboration with Russia, can destroy targets such as terrestrial warplanes and warships. Defense officials say the latest BrahMos missile range has hit the target with precision.

It is learned that a supersonic missile had recently exploded in Pakistan with a missfire. Despite reports that it was a BrahMos missile, the Indian government did not say whether it was a missile. Authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation into the incident. Air Chief Marshal VR Chowdhury congratulated the Defense Ministry on the successful test of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.
