The All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation has called for an Indian bandh on the 25th of this month. Bahujan Mukti Party Shahranpur district president Neeraj Dhiman said the federation had called for a Bharat Bandh with several demands in protest of the Centre’s failure to conduct a caste-based OBC census. The All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation has said that the Center is continuing its Bharat Bandh on issues such as non-caste OBC census, non-implementation of reservations for SCs, STs and OBCs in the private sector and EVM scandal in elections.

On the other hand, the federation leaders said that the bandh would be held against the compulsory pressure on vaccines along with demands like enacting legislation to guarantee minimum support price to farmers, implementation of old pension scheme, withdrawal of NRC, CAA, NPR, implementation of OBC reservations in panchayat elections in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Meanwhile, during the Bharat Bandh on May 25, several organizations have been campaigning on social media to close down businesses and public transport.
