Balmoori Venkat: సిద్దిపేటలో బల్మూరి వెంకట్ అరెస్ట్

Police have arrested NSUI state president Balmuri Venkat while he was visiting students of a minority guru school in Siddipet. Venkat was arrested by the police at Ramunipatla in Chinnakoduru zone. Last Sunday, 120 students fell ill after eating contaminated food at the Siddipet District Girls’ Minority Gurukul School. Attempts to provide first aid at the school with the intention of not disclosing the matter were unsuccessful. They were rushed to Siddipet District Government Hospital on Monday.

NSUI state president Balmuri Venkat, who was on his way to Siddipet from Huzurabad to check the health condition of the students, was stopped by police personnel at Ramunipatla in Siddipet district. The situation suddenly turned into a battlefield as local NSUI and Congress party ranks tried to stop the police in order to block Balmuri Venkat’s vehicle. Venkat Balmuri repeatedly appealed to the police that he was only going with the intention of knowing their health condition .. The police took them into custody and shifted them to Chinnakoduru police station. Balmuri Venkat was outraged that they had been illegally arrested. Congress leaders staged a dharna in front of the Siddipet Minority Gurukul School to protest the arrest.
