Telugu Academy Chairperson Lakshmi Parvati responded to the division of new districts in AP. She said she was very happy to name Vijayawada NTR district. He said that CM Jagan had shown what Chandrababu, who had snatched the party founded by NTR and enjoyed positions, had not done. NTR has been a fan favorite for years. Despite not having any connection with NTR, CM Jagan appreciated the good decision taken.
On the other hand, Lakshmi Parvati hopes that NTR district will get a good name in AP itself. Although NTR was born in Nimmakuru, he has a close relationship with Vijayawada. NTR said that all his childhood was spent in Vijayawada. In this context, he praised Jagan for naming Vijayawada district as NTR and adding more charm to him. Lakshmi Parvati said she was happy to name a few other districts similar to NTR after Annamayya, Sathyasai and Alluri Sitaramaraj.
