The Department of Education in AP has made a key decision. It has decided to introduce 11 new courses with apprenticeship in 20 government degree colleges in the state from this academic year. To this end, Sector Skills Councils and the Department of College Education are launching new courses under the auspices of the US, Commissioner Pola Bhaskar said. New courses include BA Tourism, Hospitality BBA, Healthcare Management, BBA Logistics, BBA Digital Marketing, BBA Retail Operations, BSc Gaming.
The courses will be available at 16 autonomous colleges as well as four other general government degree colleges, education officials said. Those who take these courses will have apprenticeship in industries. He said that the government will give a special certificate for this. He said he gets a salary of Rs 7,000 to Rs 15,000 per month at the time of apprenticeship. He said all the courses are basically starting at the rate of 30 seats. Beauty and Wellness Certificate courses are offered at six government degree colleges.
