Officials revealed that this is the first time in the history of the Indian Air Force that such applications have been received. The Indian Air Force started the registration process on June 24, 10 days after the Center launched the Agnipath scheme. This registration process ended on 5th July. The first batch of Agniveer in the Air Force will be announced on December 11 this year. So far, 6,31,528 applications have been the highest in the history. Now the Indian Air Force has announced that 7,49,899 applications have been received through the Agnipath scheme in the Indian Air Force.

Agnipath: 20 percent of Navy Agniveer sailor posts are women.

Despite protests in various parts of the country against the newly launched Agneepath scheme, these applications came. It is noteworthy that protests have turned violent in some places demanding the withdrawal of this scheme. Lieutenant General Anil Puri made it clear on June 19 that this scheme will not be taken back. He called upon the youth to come to the streets and start preparing without wasting time.

Under the Agnipath scheme brought by the Army Recruitment Center, the acceptance of applications has started in the three forces. In the Indian Navy, 20 percent of Agniveer sailor posts will be women. This is the first time that women have been replaced in sailor jobs. After the Agnipath scheme comes into force, 3,000 sailor posts will be filled in the first batch. Navy officials have revealed that women are being given an opportunity in this. He said they would have to meet the qualifications announced by the Navy. They will be assigned to different branches in this force.

Officials have revealed that 10,000 women have applied for these posts so far. For the first time, the Indian Navy has agreed to recruit women as sailors in the Navy. As part of the Agniveer scheme, it has been said that the recruitment of women for sailors will be undertaken. If necessary, they will be sent to duty in warships as well, it said.
