The central government has organized an all-party meeting on Sunday (July 17) in the morning against the backdrop of the commencement of the monsoon sessions of the Parliament. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi revealed that the meeting was arranged to be held on July 17 at 11 am. Floor leaders of all political parties were invited to this meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend this meeting. In this all-party meeting, the issues that will be discussed in the Parliament sessions to be held from July 18 will be mentioned. The opposition parties will be asked to cooperate in making the meetings peaceful. Apart from discussions on important bills, elections for the President and Vice President of India will also be held in this session. In this context, this session has become very important.

Parliament sessions will begin on July 18 and continue till August 12. The election of the President of India will be held on July 18, the same day as the Parliament session begins. The election of the Vice President will be held on August 6, 2022. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu’s term as Rajya Sabha Chairman will end on August 10. This time the Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha will act as the Returning Officer for the election of the President, while the Secretary General of the Lok Sabha will act as the Returning Officer for the election of the Vice President. Counting of the two constitutional posts will also be done in the Parliament itself in these meetings. It is known that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has announced on several occasions that the 2022 winter session will be held in a new building. He has commented many times that this may be the last session in the current Parliament building.
