Mekapati Vikram Reddy, who won a solid victory in the Atmakuru by-election, thanked CM Jagan. Vikram Reddy, who was elected as an MLA, congratulated the party leaders on the CM YS Jagan. It is known that Vikram Reddy won the recent Atmakuru by-election with a huge majority. YCP leaders congratulated Mekapati Vikram Reddy who came to the camp office. In the Atmakuru by-election, BJP and YCP candidates contested the by-elections.

In the by-election, the YSRCP polled 1,02,240 votes. The BJP got 19,352 votes. BJP lost deposits in Atmakur. YSR CP candidate Mekapati Vikram Reddy won a landslide victory with a majority of 82,888 votes. For a total of 20 rounds, Mekapati Vikram Reddy’s lead continued to grow. It is well known that YSR CP has a majority in postal ballot votes as well. The BJP, which contested in the Tirupati, Badvelu and Atmakuru by-elections, suffered a series of defeats. TDP did not compete in Atmakur in line with past traditions.
