The AP Women’s Commission has expressed outrage over Rangopal Verma, a film director who lives with constant controversy. AP Women’s Commission chairperson Vasireddy Padma announced that notices would be issued on the remarks made by RGV on NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. Draupadi said it was unfortunate that RGV was making inappropriate remarks on Murmu. She demanded that RGV withdraw his remarks immediately. Vasireddy Padma believes that RGV is a person who works in the field of cinema and his comments have a great impact on the society. He said it would not be appropriate for a tribal woman to speak in a derogatory manner if given the opportunity to run for president. She suggested that women should be respected and public opinion should be taken into consideration.

Meanwhile, Rangopal Verma recently tweeted about presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. ‘If Draupadi is the president .. who are the Pandavas here? And who are the heirs in particular? ‘ He asked. BJP leaders objected to the tweet by RGV. BJP leaders were outraged at Varma for allegedly insulting a woman and a presidential candidate and also lodged a complaint with the police. The Women’s Commission on behalf of the AP government also erred in RGV’s remarks in the wake of the YCP’s support for Draupadi Murmu’s candidature.
