Thorough inspection at Alipiri check point and only non-plastic items are allowed for rubbing. Shopkeepers are advised to make alternative arrangements for products that come in plastic covers. Use biodegradable covers or paper covers without packing plastic covers for toys, toys and other items. Many devotees who go to Tirumala have to follow these instructions. The government has decided to ban plastic items in temples in AP similar to Tirumala. Worship items in plastic covers along with plastic water bottles will no longer be allowed into temples. On the other hand a warning was given to the merchants who were committing extortion from the devotees. TTD officials held a meeting with shopkeepers and hotel managers at the Tirumala court hall. Advised not to sell plastic items. Hotel and shop managers have been instructed by officials to keep wet and dry rubbish in separate dust bins so that it can be collected.
