In Punjab, Saina Nehwal responded to a tweet by Hero Siddharth criticizing the BJP over Prime Minister Modi’s security concerns. The prime minister has said no country is safe if security is compromised. In response, Siddharth tweeted, “Subtle Cock Champion of the World… God thanks .. God of India protectors should be ashamed of folding their arms.”

However, the tweet made by the hero Siddharth sparked outrage. Union Justice Minister Kiran Rijiju was also outraged by the tweet. Siddharth has been criticized for making such cheap remarks on Saina, who has an inspiring personality, as evidence of his narrow-mindedness. “The country is proud of Saina’s amazing contribution in transforming India into a sporting power. Saina is not only an Olympic medalist, but also a disillusioned patriot,” Kiran Rijiju said on Twitter.
