Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy: Former Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy criticized the YCP government. Somireddy alleged that during Jagan’s rule, along with investment in crops, the prices of fertilizers also increased tremendously. He reminded that during the TDP regime, we stood by the farmers who lost during the typhoon. Per hectare of cotton Rs. 15 thousand, banana Rs. 30 thousand, sugarcane Rs. 15,000 as compensation, he said. Somireddy explained that Rs 1 lakh has been given to those injured due to the typhoon. At present, the Jagan government is supposed to help during the calamity, but it has completely folded its hands, he complained.

Somireddy fumed that the YCP government is giving half-hearted relief to the disaster and is throwing up its hands. Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy criticized that the former minister Kannababu had half closed the agriculture department. He said that this government has completely sidelined the aqua sector and the agriculture sector. They countered that if they ask about the three capitals, they will compare it with Africa.. They will only compare AP with Sri Lanka. Somireddy expressed concern that the investment cost for farmers has increased from 12 thousand to 15 thousand per acre in the last three years. Somireddy directly questioned whether there was a government in AP or not.
