NEET Controversy: Two others, including an NTA invigilator, have been arrested in connection with an incident in which a student was asked to remove her innerwear before appearing for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). It is known that in Kerala, there have been allegations of stripping the underwear of female students who came to write the exam. He was allowed to write the exam only by removing his underwear. Professor Priji Kurian Issac and Dr. Shayanand were detained on Thursday morning in this case. With this, the number of people arrested in this case has reached seven. The police had previously arrested five people in connection with this incident.

In the NEET exam held on Sunday (17th of July), the students were misbehaved. NEET students are not only checked but also asked to remove underwear (bra). The students were shocked by this. When I asked why I had to take off my underwear, I was told that I would be allowed to write the exam only if I removed it. In this regard, the Kerala Police registered a case on Tuesday. A case under section 354 and 509 of the IPC has been registered at Chadayamangalam police station under Kollam Rural Police District. The incident came to light on July 18 when a student lodged a complaint with the Kollam Superintendent of Police after the NEET exam for undergraduate medical courses was over. In her complaint, the student stated that she was asked to remove her innerwear before entering the examination hall.

But while writing the exam, the students had to write with their fingers forward. And some students wrote the exam in tears. After the students who came out after writing the exam informed their parents about this. The Central Education Department said that they have received information through various media articles and in this context, a committee has been formed, the members of the committee will visit Kollam and prepare a report, based on which final action will be taken.
