A case under section 354 and 509 of the IPC has been registered at Chadayamangalam police station under Kollam Rural Police District. The incident came to light on July 18 when a student lodged a complaint with the Kollam Superintendent of Police after the NEET exam for undergraduate medical courses was over. In her complaint, the student stated that she was asked to remove her innerwear before entering the examination hall.

After the students who came out after writing the exam informed their parents about this.
