Heavy Rains: It rained heavily in many districts across Telangana. Once again the streams and bends overflowed due to heavy rain. Flood water has reached the roads.. Difficulty has arisen for the motorists. Electricity supply was also interrupted along with transportation to the villages. Meteorological department has issued rain alert for Telangana. Red alert has been announced for four districts. Red alert has been issued for Mahbubabad, Janagama, Suryapet and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. Orange alert has been issued for Khammam, Warangal, Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajigiri districts and yellow alert has been issued for some other districts.
The Meteorological Center of Hyderabad has said that rains are falling in many parts of Telangana due to the effect of shear zone. It is said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the state for the next two days. It has been said that there will be heavy rains in Hyderabad city for the next 48 hours. Heavy rain has fallen again in many parts of Bhagyanagar. Although the weather has been dry for the past three days, it has rained again since this morning. Motorists faced difficulties as all the roads were waterlogged.
Hyderabad Police alerted people in the wake of heavy rains. It is advised not to come out unless it is urgent. Also, the traffic police advised people not to come out when the rain stops. He said that he should come out after some time. Only then can he get rid of the traffic problems. Heavy rains are likely to flood the roads. This may not get stuck in traffic. So people are advised to take care and come out. In this context, the GHMC is asking the people of the city to be vigilant.
