CM Jagan: Rs 6,594 crore 'Jagananna Amma Odi' funds released tomorrow

CM Jagan will tour Srikakulam district on Monday. On this occasion, CM Jagan will virtually deposit the funds for the third year of the Jagannath Amma Odi scheme introduced by the AP government in the accounts of mothers of students in Srikakulam district. Under the Amma Odi scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 15,000 per annum to mothers who send their children into slavery. This aid is credited directly to the accounts of the students’ mothers. Benefiting 82,31,502 students studying from one to inter, Rs. 6,595 crore will be deposited by CM Jagan. During the 2019–20 academic year, 42,33,098 beneficiaries received Rs. 6,349.53 crore to 44,48,865 beneficiaries in the 2020–21 academic year and Rs. 6,673 crore to 43,96,402 beneficiaries in the 2021–22 academic year. The government has allocated Rs 6,595.00 crore.
