TDP chief Chandrababu has written a letter to DGP Kasireddy Venkata Rajendranath Reddy that the CID’s harassment of those posting on social media is inappropriate. On this occasion, Garlapati Venkateswara Rao and Mokarla Sambasivarao were illegally detained and harassed by the CID police. They said that in the middle of the night walls were broken and doors were broken and harassed in the name of notices. It is said that when women were present in the house, they broke into the house illegally and terrorized the family members. In his letter, Chandrababu brought to the attention of the DGP that he was illegally taken into custody and severely harassed by the CID police.

However, Chandrababu alleged that there were no CC cameras in the interrogation room of the CID officers.. During the arrest and investigation, the CID police acted contrary to the Supreme Court verdict. He said that the government is subjecting the opposition parties to political harassment with the help of some tainted officials. Chandrababu questioned the CID officials as to what is the need to illegally detain and torture the ranks of the TDP. Chandrababu asked the DGP to take action against the CID officers involved in criminal conspiracies and stand by the victims.
