Air Guns: Air guns created a commotion at Lucknow International Airport, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Customs officials found 10 foreign-made air guns in the possession of a Dubai passenger. A passenger tried to hide foreign air guns in a luggage bag while the customs officers were blindfolded.
But the airguns case was caught during the screening conducted by the customs officials at the airport. Along with air guns, telescopes were also seized by the customs team. A case has been registered against the passenger under the Arms Act and customs officials are investigating. They are inquiring whether he has supplied any weapons in the past. The value of those weapons is Rs.20.54
Officials said it would be lakhs. Customs officials revealed that the accused tried to pass through the Green Channel without any declaration or legal documents.
